Pernille Ernst Hager

Background: Served as a Commercial Advisor at the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington, DC. Facilitated commercial relationships with the multilateral banks, NGO’s in addition to mapping the renewable energy market for Danish companies and leading commercial delegations. Previously, worked for over 12 years with several multinational companies in Europe in areas relating to international consulting, strategic marketing and corporate development.

She has established a proven track record in the development and implementation of branding concepts and market repositioning in the retail, beverage, transportation and heavy manufacturing industries. The positions included the conceptualization and implementation of marketing and business development strategies for large corporations. Additionally, she lead the management and expansion of a German consultancy’s retail practice, managing
major German corporate accounts.

E. Christian Hager

Background: With over 20 years of experience in banking, finance, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and business development, he has specialized in transatlantic business development especially growth strategies in both the US and European markets, working for over 14 years in Europe.

He served as special liaison to the Governor of Virginia for matters of economic development and building relationships with European companies having commercial interests in Virginia and the U.S. Christian has assisted numerous European companies across various industries with the expansion of their operations or manufacturing in the U.S. He has also led and managed significant international acquisitions and investments in the telecoms and satellite industries. He has extensive experience in growing start-up companies operationally and in direct sales management roles. Most recently he has assisted several technology and renewable energy firms on both sides of the Atlantic expand their international reach.

John D. Pilznienski – Independent Legal Advisor

John has worked for several major law firms in Washington, DC  and has experience in international arbitration, antitrust litigation, investigations, and litigation involving major class action proceedings. He has represented clients with matters before administrative agencies and has worked with environmental consultants including environmental cleanup activities at several Superfund Sites. He also has experience in launching startup companies, including corporate formation, organizational structure, and membership agreements. 

He holds a JD from American University, The Washington College of Law, and is a member of DC and Maryland State and Federal bars.
